Oxidation-reduction reactions

This kit enables to carry out tests of reactions where a substance is oxidized and the other one is reduced by the use of salt solutions. In detail, the proposed reactions are:
– Reaction between dilute nitric acid and copper
– Reaction between concentrated nitric acid and copper
– Oxidation of Fe(II) to Fe(III) by nitric acid
– Oxidation of zinc by hydrochloric acid
– Reduction of manganese VII to manganese II by hydrochloric acid
– Reaction between copper sulfate and potassium iodide
– Reaction between potassium iodide and bromine in solution
– Sodium oxidized by water
