Alcohols

The experimental part is divided into fi ve parts: miscibility tests with water, oxidation of an alcohol by potassium dichromate, oxidation of an alcohol in the presence of copper at high temperature, recognition of an alcohol with Lucas reagent (primary, secondary, tertiary alcohol) and formation of an alkoxide (alcoholate).
