Excitation of molecules
C-AV-45/EV
In the spectral region between 200 and 800 nm, which is recorded by UV-VIS spectrophotometer, you have transitions of electrons from the basic state to the excited state. The transitions are induced by the interaction of these atoms with high energy electromagnetic radiation. The absorption of the Polieno carotene dye is recorded in the visible region of the electromagnetic spectrum. The wavelength for the maximum absorption is compared with the value calculated according to the electronic model.
