Melting point of a binary system

In drawing the cooling curves of binary mixtures, the melting and solidification temperatures are determined of species with different molar fractions of the two components. The results can be represented in a temperature vs concentration diagram. The composition of the eutectic mixture and its melting point is determined from the diagram of the melting point.
