This kit enables to apply the acid-base titration methods explained in the previous tests to determine the acidity or basicity of chemical compounds commonly used in everyday life such as lemon juice, for instance. The proposed tests consists in squeezing a lemon completely into a beaker, filtering its juice through a quick paper filter, then some quantity of juice is extracted and diluted with water and phenolphthalein, as indicator; then using sodium hydroxide will enable to titrate this solution. All the citric acid of lemon juice is neutralized by sodium hydroxide.
